When are you open?

During Edinburgh and Midlothian school Term Time the park is open from Noon-10pm Weekdays.

During Edinburgh and Midlothian school Holiday Term the park is open from 10am-10pm Weekdays.

Can I just turn up and use the park?

If you have never visited the park before you will need to complete our consent form, This must be completed by yourself if you are over 16 years old or by a parent/legal guardian if you are under 16 years old. What Equipment Can I Use In The Park ?

Transgression Park is designed and built for Skateboards,Inline Skates,BMX Bikes,Jump Bikes and Stunt Scooters.

We do not permit the use of 3 Wheeled Scooters,Toy Scooters,Toy Skateboards, Pogo Sticks, Folding Scooters, Electric Scooters, Electric Bikes, Any Petrol or Diesel powered vehicles.

If you are in doubt as to whether your equipment is suitable for use within the park our staff will happily advise.

 

Can I hire equipment at the park?

Yes, We have a range of skateboards,scooters and bmx bikes available to hire. Premium Members get up to 25% off these prices. Please note that equipment availability can be limited during busy sessions and we recommend you pre book equipment in advance of your visit by phoning the park on 0131 661 4769.

Do I need to wear protective equipment in the park?

If you are under 16 years old then you must wear a Helmet at all times whilst in the park. Persons over 16 are able to opt out of use of protective equipment by completing the disclaimer at the foot of our Consent Form.

Can I hire safety equipment at the park?

We have a range of helmets and pads available to hire for £1 per session. Premium Members get free safety equipment hire. Please note that safety equipment availability can be limited during busy sessions and we recommend you pre book equipment in advance of your visit by phoning the park on 0131 661 4769.

Lessons

If you are new to skateparks then we highly recommend you take a lesson with one of our skilled instructors.

They will get you started with all the basics for safe use of the park and your equipment.

Do you have food or drink facilities?

Within Ozone Action Sports you will find Sky High Cafe. The Cafe provides a great range of hot and cold food and drink which can be enjoyed either takeaway or sit-in.

You will also find the main viewing gallery for Transgression Park at Sky High. This area does close at 8pm.

We do insist that no food or drink be taken into the skatepark arena for any reason. This is to ensure the park is clean and safe for use.

 

TO ARRIVE BY CAR:

We are easily accessible by car, located close to the A7.

At the Sheriffhall Roundabout on the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass take the exit for the A7

towards Newtongrange.

Continue along the A7 for a further 2.2 miles until you reach Dalhousie Road (keep left).

Continue along the B6482.

Before entering Mayfield take a right turn at Saltire Soccer. Please follow the directions on the black signs past the Scottish Ambulance Centre and thereafter taking a right turn, followed by a left.

You will then arrive at Ozone Action Sports.

 

TO ARRIVE BY BUS:

Lothian Buses routes 29 (during peak hours), 33 and N3 all stop along Suttieslea Road.

Once off the bus please walk by foot into Mayfield Industrial Estate and follow the black signs to Ozone and Ryze Edinburgh.

Please take a right after the Scottish Ambulance Centre.
